I liked more or less because the taste of cinnamon a little disturbing in my recipe.
I'll do it again with less cinnamon and I'm sure my taste buds are much appreciated.
750 g (1 ½ lb) boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes of 5 cm (2 inches)
4 pitas grilled
Marinade:
1 cup plain yogurt 2 tablespoons
tablespoon lemon juice ½ c.
teaspoon dried thyme ½ tsp
at th. Freshly ground pepper ½ tsp
teaspoon ground cinnamon 4 cloves garlic
chopped
Sauce :
½ cup plain yogurt 1 clove garlic
chopped 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley, chopped ½ c.
chopped fresh mint, chopped ½ c.
tablespoon lemon juice Salt and pepper
to taste
-Thread chicken cubes onto 4 skewers, bamboo, soaked in water for 30 minutes, and place them in an oven dish 23cm x 33cm ( 9 "x 13")
-In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients and pour over the skewers and coat well with marinade these last. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator 3 hours.
-In a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and refrigerate.
-Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat. (I have cooked in a frying pan)-Remove
maximum marinade over the skewers and then put them on the grill and cook for 15 minutes total, turning 3 times.
-Place 1 skewer each of grilled pita. Pour a little sauce onto each skewer and serve immediately.
