-In a large bowl, beat butter at medium-high speed for 30 seconds.

-Add sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Beat until smooth, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.

-Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth.

-Add flour and mix well to make a fine paste. If dough is too sticky, let it cool in the fridge for a while for it to be healed a little.

-Once the dough easy to handle, form 1 inch balls and flatten slightly and roll sides in candy colors.

Then place the balls of dough coated on the cookie sheet and using your thumb make an indentation in the center of each cookie.

Note: I cook 7 minutes on the top rack. The texture of shortbread biscuits is rather with a whole heart chocolate fudge!

It was a great success.



For 54 muffins:
5 eggs (300 g)
2 / 3 cup (160 ml) milk
1 and 3 / 4 cups (350 g) sugar 3 cups
+ 2 tablespoons ( 390 g) flour 1 tablespoon
(17 g) baking powder (baking powder)
1 and 1 / 3 cups (320 g) butter, melted cooled
Zest of 1 lemon 1 teaspoon

-In mixer bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar.
Add flour and baking powder which have been previously screened, alternating with milk. Mix well.
Add melted butter and lemon zest, almond extract and vanilla seeds and mix well.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let stand in refrigerator for 10 to 12 hours.

-Butter and flour the madeleine pans if they are metal. If they are silicone, lubrication is not normally necessary, but be sure to have a perfect release, do it anyway.

STEW DUMPLINGS "HOUSE" VEAL

is the classic of classics, a meatball stew.
There is nothing better to please the whole family. For everything and winning ball home.
As I had a leftover chicken and that I missed a little calf to count the recipe, well I combined the two, which was very good.



(8 to 10 servings)

1 yellow onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic

chopped Butter, as needed
1 kg (2 lb) of milk-fed veal from Quebec chopped 1

beaten egg 1 / 2 cup bread crumbs 2 tablespoons
teaspoon coarse salt 2 tablespoons
teaspoon ground pepper
2 l (8 cups) veal stock or chicken broth 1 cup flour

1 tablespoon toasted teaspoon ground allspice
Salt and pepper to taste


-In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter, cool and reserve.

-In a bowl, mix the minced veal, egg, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, onion and garlic.

-Shape meat into meatballs about 15 grams (1 tablespoon). (Makes approximately 50 to 60 small meatballs.)

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

-Place meatballs on a lightly oiled cookie sheet or parchment paper and bake until a nice golden color.

-In a pot, bring the veal stock to a boil and stir in toasted flour, stirring vigorously with a whisk. Add the allspice and season with salt and pepper.

-Add the meatballs to veal stock and bring to a boil. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F (180 C) for 30 minutes.

-Serve with potatoes and steamed vegetables.

HUMMUS ROASTED GARLIC

I love hummus and since I'm home, I like to try another recipe vary so here is yet another that I liked.
If you do not have tahini you can easily replace it with peanut butter, preferably 100% natural.


1 can chickpeas, without water
5 c. tablespoon sesame butter (tahini)
1 lemon, juice
1 head garlic 1 tsp
tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil (olive me) Salt & pepper

-Cut the cap of the head of garlic and pour oil on top and bake at 325 350 F for 1 hour.

-Put the chickpeas, the juices lemon, sesame butter, salt & pepper in a food processor and mix until dough is homogeneous and read. If you find that the dough is too thick add a little water or vegetable oil / olive oil (to taste).

-Cool the garlic and add to the chickpea paste and mix in food processor to get the final mix.

GRAHAM CAKE, SUGAR ICE CREAM PANCAKES

I was really surprised by this cake because I did not use the graham other than to make a tart or a bottom of cake.
He was very soft and creaming my surprise, I do not know if I missed it because it turned into fudge and it was not like a creamy frosting.

Cake:
1 tbsp butter 1 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten 2 cups
graham cracker crumbs 2 tbsp

flour 1 1 / 2 tsp baking powder 1 cup milk


Frosting:
3 / 4 cup
brown sugar 3 tbsp butter 2 tbsp

milk 1 / 2 cup powdered sugar

-Beat the butter. Add sugar, beaten egg and mix well.

-Add dry ingredients and milk, beat well.

-Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees F in a pan 8x8-inch (20 cm).

-Cool the cake.

Frosting:
-Bring to a boil first 3 ingredients.

-Remove from heat.

-Add powdered sugar.

-Cool 4 minutes and spread on cake.

They are really delicious and if you do not have eggnog on hand and well go on his site even has a recipe for eggnog, then you have no reason not to try these pancakes good.

(Makes 6 to 8 servings
Bake in a slow cooker 3.5 to 6 liters (14 to 24 cups)


1 tbsp butter 1 onion, sliced

8 beets peeled, quartered (sliced me 5 lbs)
2 tablespoons liquid honey

2 tbsp lemon juice
1 / 2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 tablespoon

teaspoon salt 1 / 4 c. teaspoon black pepper 1 cup
vegetable broth (chicken I)


-In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook about 5 minutes or until they are tender, stirring occasionally.

-Put the beets in a casserole pot. Add the cooked onions, honey, lemon juice, nutmeg, salt and pepper and broth (or water). Mix well.

-Cover and cook on low heat 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours or until the beets are tender. Me I chose the second option and that was enough.

-Bake in a slow cooker 3.5 to 6 liters (14 to 24 cups)

When j ' I made this soup I had just bought a new cooker then the morning before leaving I adjust the timer and go I'm leaving work.
On my return, I look at my soup, which had not fragrant smell of home, and surprise, the broth is hot but not boiling and the potatoes cuitent not at all.
I finish the soup on the stove and think Me I went to change this slow cooker.

6 cups 1 L + 500 ml chicken broth 1 onion, chopped

3 potatoes, peeled and diced 1 ½ cups
375 ml
cabbage cut into pieces 1 leek, sliced 2 carrots, diced

2 stalks celery, sliced ¼ cup
fresh parsley 1 tablespoon chopped
tsp salt ½ tsp
teaspoon pepper 1 bay leaf

2 large sweet Italian sausage, sliced (I 3)
½ lbs bacon (bacon bits) (not set)



-In slow cooker, combine chicken broth, potatoes, cabbage, leek, onion, carrots, celery, parsley, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Mix thoroughly.

-Add the pieces on top of sausages. Cover and cook 8-10 hours on low or 5-6 hours on high.

-Cook bacon and cut into small pieces. Book.

-Remove bay leaf Place small pieces of cooked bacon on top of the bowl just before serving. (You can add ½ cup sour cream 125 ml diluted in 125 ml ½ cup chicken broth and add to end of cooking).

To begin my vacation last week I got spoiled and I made myself a drink that I found in The adventurous culinary Kiki .
is a powerful drink enough but I liked it.


1 to 1 1 / 2 c. tsp sugar (I 1 ½)
1 to 1 / 2 tsp tea with very hot water (I ½) 2 oz gin

8-10 fresh raspberries (frozen me) 1 lime wedge


Ice Soda tonic to taste


-In a bowl, blend the sugar in hot water.

-Squeeze lime wedge on the preparation and deposit the file.

-Pour gin and add raspberries. Using a spoon, lightly crush the berries.

and drop ice cubes and pour in the tonic to taste.

1 cup flour 3 / 4 cup sugar 1 tsp
teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 c. teaspoon baking soda
1 / 4 c.
teaspoon salt 1 / 2 cup mashed ripe bananas (2 bananas)
1 / 4 cup sour milk
1 / 4 cup margarine 1 egg

1 / 2 c. teaspoon vanilla

-In a bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add bananas, milk, margarine, egg and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes.

-Pour batter into a greased dish 8 x 8 or 8 muffin cups lined with paper. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes. 30 minutes for cupcakes. Cool completely before frosting.

I made these for my little gang good muffins.
It was very kind and good and fast food.



2 cups flour 2 tsp
teaspoon baking powder
1 / 2 c. teaspoon soda 1 pinch salt

1 / 3 cup butter, room t °
2 / 3 cup sugar 2 eggs

1 / 2 cup sour cream (my vanilla yogurt)
2 bananas, mashed fork
2 / 3 cup pineapple, crushed, drained
1 / 2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
1 / 2 cup chocolate chips semisweet

* If desired, this amount, reserving 14 whole cherries to put on top of each muffin just before baking.


-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

-In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips. (Book).

-In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and eggs.

-Add sour cream, bananas and pineapples. Mix well.

-Add the flour mixture. Mix just until moistened. Add chopped cherries the end.

-Turn batter into greased muffin tins or lined with paper cups.

-Bake at 350 degrees F for 22 to 25 minutes.

So here's a recipe that accompanies one of our purchases.

GOOD VALENTINE'S FRIENDS



½ cup white wine 2 shallots
French
finely chopped ½ cup cream 35%
1 / 3 cup finely chopped fresh basil (1 Tbsp dried basil)
Juice of ½ lemon
¾ cup butter into pieces Salt and pepper



-Put the shallots and wine in a small saucepan and boil to evaporate the alcohol. Add cream, basil and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and remove. Low heat, add butter in small pieces and cook, whisking until butter is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Book.


Grilled Lobster Tails:
Cut lobster tail in half lengthwise.
Brush with melted butter to keep the flesh moist and tender.
then lay on a baking sheet. Place in oven, broil, shell underneath. Broil 7-10 minutes.

Serve with butter and basil.

To accompany my lobster tails, I made these shrimp and scallops flamed in brandy, ½ oz and 1 oz the recipe for the stove Loll .

-Cook scallops on fire heat in butter and olive oil about 3 minutes.

-Add all other ingredients except shrimp and alcohol. Cook 2 minutes.

-Pour the brandy and flambé. Stir with a wooden spoon slowly until there is more fire.

-Serve as an appetizer.

¾ cup boiling water 1 tablespoon

-In a large plastic bag or a dish, put the chicken aside. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over meat. Mix to coat cubes and marinate 12 to 24 hours. Drain skewers and cook on oiled grill until your meat is cooked through. Back during cooking.

I liked more or less because the taste of cinnamon a little disturbing in my recipe.

750 g (1 ½ lb) boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes of 5 cm (2 inches)
4 pitas grilled

Marinade:
1 cup plain yogurt 2 tablespoons
tablespoon lemon juice ½ c.
teaspoon dried thyme ½ tsp
at th. Freshly ground pepper ½ tsp
teaspoon ground cinnamon 4 cloves garlic
chopped

Sauce :
½ cup plain yogurt 1 clove garlic

chopped 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley, chopped ½ c.
chopped fresh mint, chopped ½ c.
tablespoon lemon juice Salt and pepper
to taste

-Thread chicken cubes onto 4 skewers, bamboo, soaked in water for 30 minutes, and place them in an oven dish 23cm x 33cm ( 9 "x 13")

-In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients and pour over the skewers and coat well with marinade these last. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator 3 hours.

-In a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and refrigerate.

-Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat. (I have cooked in a frying pan)-Remove

maximum marinade over the skewers and then put them on the grill and cook for 15 minutes total, turning 3 times.

-Place 1 skewer each of grilled pita. Pour a little sauce onto each skewer and serve immediately.

1 cup milk 1 egg, lightly beaten

-Place ingredients in order listed specific press for sweet bread when the buzzer sounded add ½ to ¾ cup chocolate chips


(Me I began to dough, add chocolate chips to put my path when kneading machine BIP and I gave up an hour into the loaf pan and baked at 375oF about 25 minutes.)

vinegar 2 tbsp
tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons
teaspoon ginger, grated 2 cloves garlic

pepper 2 green onions, minced 1 tablespoon
tablespoon lemon zest, grated (me orange zest)


-Preheat oven to 325 oF.

-Coat the chicken pieces.

-In ovenproof saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté

chicken for 5 minutes.

-In a bowl, combine maple syrup, chili sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and pepper. Pour this mixture over chicken.

-Bake for 30 minutes.

-When serving, garnish with scallions and lemon zest.

teaspoon cinnamon 1 / 2 c.
teaspoon salt 3 / 4 cup oil 2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 tsp teaspoon vanilla
1 1 / 2 cup finely shredded carrots
3 / 4 cup crushed pineapple and sewer

Frosting:
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
125 g cream cheese, softened (I 250g) 2 tablespoons
tablespoon pineapple juice

-Preheat oven to 350F.
-Grease and flour a 9 inch round pan.

-Mix the first ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

-Add oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix.

-Stir in carrots and pineapple. Mix well.

-Spread into pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes in center of oven.

-Nightlife and cool.

-Mix the glaze ingredients until the mixture is smooth.

-Spread over cake.

TO ITALIAN CHICKEN SANDWICH

This is a great soup that will please the whole family.
As I am the type to read a recipe fast enough before the start, while I put parsley in the dumplings and I was not sure my balls were going to stay in beautiful states, but everything was perfect and very very good anyway.


(Serving Size: 8)
3 / 4 lb (375 g) ground beef
very thin 1 cup onion, finely chopped
1 / 3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 / 2 cup fresh parsley leaves flat leaf (Italian), minced
1 / 4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped end
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, beaten
1 / 2 c. tablespoons canola oil 2 cans
(900 ml each) chicken broth 1 cup
carrots, diced
1 / 4 cup orzos (rice-shaped pasta) or uncooked rice * (me orzos)
1 / 4 c. teaspoon black pepper


-Combine beef, onion, bread crumbs, 1 / 4 cup parsley, basil, garlic and egg in a bowl. Knead the mixture until smooth. Shape into small meatballs of 1 cm (1 / 2 inches) in diameter.

-Heat oil over medium-high heat in large non-stick skillet. Cook the meatballs until browned. Remove and set aside.

-Bring broth to a boil in large saucepan. Add meatballs and carrots. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

-Stir the orzo and remaining parsley and black pepper. Cover and simmer until meatballs are cooked through, about 10 minutes. Serve immediately.

Tip: * If rice is used in step 4, simmer 5 to 10 additional minutes, until it is tender. The meatballs can be cooked to perfection and chilled for a day or one month if frozen. Whatever method is used, this represents a saving of time for a hearty soup desired quickly.

Vintage touch. The cape.

Today I decided to return to the vintage photo because I thought it went well with this outfit. And as you can see, the hood was out! It's been a while it is in my closet since I fell in love with her during my stay in Paris in December. In this Thursday
sunny, the uniforms were a bit lighter in college and was an opportunity for me to leave this wonder of my wardrobe.
Hopefully my next trip to Paris (soon) even offer me some nice surprises.

You will surely say: "But Maite?! And the sales?" No, I did not forget to show you all my acquisitions soldesques but I realized that I had bought a priority accessories, shoes and jackets. And 90% of my new parts are made for summer. But I will try to show you that very soon. :)
